Alexei Orlov is the Founder and Global CEO of mtm choice worldwide, founded in February 2017 as a New Boutique Holding Group specializing in the ever-growing, tech-enabled Brand Activation space. The company has acquired 4 highly regarded specialist agencies covering PR, Brand Strategy, Experiential and Media Optimization. Collectively, the mtm choice family currently has a work force of over 100+ employees and a roster of 160+ clients with offices in New York, Los Angeles, London and Milan.
Prior to founding mtm choice, Alexei served as the Senior Advisor to the Chairman & CEO of DAS Group of companies, a division of Omnicom Group PLC (OMC). He also served as the Global Chief Executive Officer of RAPP Worldwide, one of the world’s leading CRM agencies.
Previously, Alexei Orlov held the position of Chief Marketing Officer for Volkswagen Group China / ASEAN covering a portfolio with sales in excess of ~$100 Billion. As a member of Volkswagen’s Executive Leadership Team, Alexei was jointly responsible for the commercial excellence of the company’s significant regional business, as well as being co-responsible for the brand integrity and marketing deployment of the organization’s key automotive brands.
Alexei Orlov also formerly served with leading digital agency Wunderman for eight years as President Europe, then as Global COO and finally as Executive Vice-Chairman of Worldwide Operations. During this time, he also served as Global Strategic Lead for WPP plc for the automotive business, where he co-led Ogilvy & Mather, Wunderman, Mindshare, Y&R and JWT on their collective work for major car manufacturers.
Alexei was the recipient of the CMO of the Year ASEAN Award, granted by the World Brand Congress. He also led a Cannes Gold Lion Award-winning team at Proximity, for the “People’s Car Project,” a social media platform attracting over 28 million users. He delivered one of the keynote speeches at the prestigious Global Brand Forum in 2013.
